  My name is Dr. Robert Cabe. I have been associated with Midlands Veterinary Practice since its opening in 1991. I have served as a veterinary assistant/technician throughout undergraduate school at the University of South Carolina. I graduated from USC in 1994; I obtained my DVM from the University of Georgia in 1998. My primary veterinary interests are anesthesia and pain management. My outside interests include reading and listening to music.  I am a member of the American Veterinary Association, the South Carolina Association of Veterinarians, and the Greater Columbia Association of Veterinarians.

• Dr. Eddie M Robinson , Owner, Veterinarian

  
  

  My name is Dr. Robinson, I am a Columbia native, I earned my B.S. in Zoology from Clemson University in 1979 and my DVM from Tuskegee University in 1983. Prior to opening Midlands Veterinary Practice, I spent eight years as an associate veterinarian at Chester Veterinary Hospital, and Banks Animal Hospital. I am a member of the American Veterinary Association, The South Carolina Association of Veterinarians, and the Greater Columbia Association of Veterinarians. My free time is split between my family, Clemson Alumni activities, listening to Jazz and Rotary Club (Lake Murray-Irmo) activities.

  My name is Heather Atkins. I have been here since December 2008 and I started as a Veterinary Technician and am now the Office Manager here at Midlands Veterinary Practice. I have 3 wonderful children, my son Cameron who is 3 and my two dogs, Rambo and Shasta. It is a priviledge to work here at Midlands Veterinary Practice with our wonderful staff and Doctors! We have a great family here and we look forward to serving our patients and clients everyday!

  My name is Angela; I am 33 years old and have been with Midlands Veterinary Practice since February of 1998. I am married and have two sons. Dylan is my oldest and he was born August 2003. Dawson is my youngest son and he was born August 2007. They are both the light of my life. Even though I am now a mother, my love for animals has not changed. I currently own  2 Labrador Retrievers, 3 Dachshunds, a French Bordeaux Mastiff, Bassett Hound, and a Redbone Coonhound  My favorite pastime is playing in the yard with my sons and watching them interact with the dogs. I am a trainer with Thoughtful Paws Obedience and this is something that I find very rewarding and exciting. I have been actively training dogs for approximately 7 years. Two of my Labrador Retrievers are AKC Hunt Test titled and all their training was done by me alone. I look forward to spending many more years at Midlands Veterinary Practice where I care for the most valuable pets...yours!

  My name is Schaunta Smith. I have been with Midlands Veterinary Practice since 2000. I earned my B.S. in Biology from the Universty of South Carolina, 2001. I have a dog and a cat. I have always loved animals. I am known as the treat lady, since I give a treat to every dog that walks in the door.

I am from Charleston, S.C. and just recently moved here with my new husband. I look forward to meeting you and all of your pets.

  I am married to Russ Hughes and the mother of four children ages 28,24,22 and 16. I also have one step daughter who is 38. I worked for thirty-two years for the South Carolina Department of Mental Health and retired last September. I live at Lake Murray and feel fortunate to be a part of Dr. Robinson's wonderful practice!

I just recently graduated from college with my B.S. in Science.
